Dr. Jose Avila-Calles truly saved my life. I came into my appointment today at ECPC Apex Interventional Pain and Spine feeling very unwell, and he immediately recognized that something was not right. He identified irregular heartbeats/AFib and acted without hesitation by sending me straight to the ER. What stood out most was how calm and reassuring he was. He didn’t panic me, he guided me, and the staff was also very helpful and supportive during a scary moment. I am grateful to God that I even had that appointment today, because it got me urgent care when I needed it most. Thank you, Dr. Jose, for your attentiveness, professionalism, and compassion. To God be all the glory for my LIFE, HEALTH, and STRENGTH! ○/ Dr. Jose is truly a guardian angel.

Excellent care. My pain l we level immediately dropped after my injection. Lasted from July till January.

I was not scheduled for an appointment and was having some issues and Dr Keogh was able to get me in same day! We made choices after great discussion, made plans. Dr. Keogh and is support staff are great.

Office staff and medical team made me deel comfortable even though I was scared out of my wits about having something done to my spine. Procedure was quick and safe

I love this office, the Apex Office is nice too. Dr Keogh is one busy dude but he always finds the time to listen and I love his Playlist during procedures. My FNP, Valerie, and all the assistants from exam room to treatment have been stellar. I know all their names and would genuinely like to recognize each of them individually but, They All Rock. My mobility & pain management has improved remarkably. I highly recommend Dr. Keogh and his crew. I'd hang out just for the music and dumdum lollipops, it's that kind of vibe. Welcoming front staff, no long wait times and competent, caring staff, what more could you ask for?

Very friendly and kind and very gentle

Went in with a preconceived thought that it was going to be just another Pain Clinic that delivers meds and then walks out the door. How wrong I was. Dr Calles an amazing empathetic and very understanding position who takes the time to explain procedures and thoughts about your pain and options. He doesn’t do anything without your approval. I was skeptical about getting a shot in my hip, but I am so glad I did because the pain is now 0.5 out of what was 9 to 10 prior to the injection when I would walk. He was so happy and his energy level was so important for me to feel safe when he gave my the shot. I honestly didn’t feel anything but a slight tingle because he was considered enough to mix it with lidocaine. For once I feel like we have a game plan that will work for me so that I can go back to being normal and doing normal things like my daily chores, my weekly chores, exercising,walking,family outings. The staff there are so considerate and friendly. The energy in the building is positive and the staff are happy. That says volumes about the team. I was amazed. I recommend this clinic to anyone who needs pain management.
