Dr. Keogh is an expert, board-certified interventional pain medicine physician available to evaluate and treat your painful condition. Our highly skilled team includes Ali Elios, PA-C and Davis Holt, FNP. We are proud to provide a customized, patient-centered, interventional approach to pain management, which allows us to give you the optimal care for your specific needs.

We can treat almost any painful condition including but not limited to: neck and back pain, sciatica, degenerated or herniated discs, unrelieved pain after surgery, complex regional pain syndrome, vertebral compression fractures, diabetic and other neuropa thies, migraines, arthritis and sports injuries.

We offer cutting - edge, innovative non - surgical and interventional pain treatment options. Dr. Keogh is highly skilled in an array of treatment options including epidural steroid injections , spinal cord stimulation and therapeutic radiofrequency ablation for chronic pain, as well as prolotherapy, sprint and stem wave peripheral nerve stimulation for chronic pain of back, shoulders and knees in addition to genicular nerve blocks for knee pain. Dr. Keogh also treats pain with diagnostic blocks of the spine facet joint medial branches and sympathetic blocks. We specialize in various procedures for back pain, including Kyphoplasty , and the MILD procedure for spinal stenosis, a minimally invasive treatment that requires no general anesthesia or stitches and is effective in relieving pain in the lower back, legs or buttocks when standing or walking. Additionally, we offer BOTOX® for migraine relief, as well as PRP injections to stimulate healing.

Brian H. Keogh, Jr., MD

Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Subspecialty Board-Certified in Interventional Pain Medicine

Dr. Keogh (Key-Oh) is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), with subspecialty board-certification in interventional pain medicine. He strives to provide compassionate and effective care to his patients, with an emphasis on restoration of function and improvement in quality of life. Dr. K grew up in Colorado and attended medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

He completed his residency specialty training in PM&R at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he served as the Chief Resident during his tenure. He developed such a passion for treating patients in pain, that he pursued subspecialty fellowship training in interventional pain medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. K started an interventional pain and spine practice for a large healthcare system in Colorado before he joined his exceptional colleagues at ECPC Pain Specialists in 2018. Dr. Keogh has loved being able to serve patients in North Carolina and is grateful to be a part of such an excellent practice as ECPC Pain Specialists!

Davis Holt, FNP

Davis Holt, FNP (Nurse Practitioner) joins our practice family with a wealth of experience in patient care. He completed his undergraduate studie s at the University of North Texas and then graduated from Parker University College of Chiropractic. He worked as a chiropractor for 17 years providing care for patients with musculoskeletal pain. Wanting to expand his scope, he attended Wayland Baptist U niversity and the University of Cincinnati to obtain his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing (FNP). In his free time, Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and three children who all love traveling and visiting Disney and Universal! Davis is excit ed to be part of a caring and compassionate team in a specialty designed to assist people with their pain and improve their quality of life. He looks forward to meeting you soon!

Alexandra Elios, PA-C

Alexandra (Ali) Elios is a board certified Physician Assistant working in Pain Management since 2016. Ali was born and raised in south Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a BA in Biology and attended Nova Southeastern University where she received her Masters in Medical Science. She is dedicated to exceptional patient treatment and care with goals of improving physical functionality, sleep and overall health. In her spare time, Ali loves spending time with her family, traveling and kick boxing.

Kristen Stevenson, APRN

Kristen Stevenson is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pain Management since 2019. She was born in New York but grew up in northern Alabama. Kristen graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Masters in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse as well as a travel nurse for several years broadening her scope of practice in many fields including intensive care, cardiovascular surgery, postoperative care and even hospice. She then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham again where she received her Masters in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs as well as traveling and hiking.
