I saw Dr Brian Keogh, Jr for lower back pain in Holly Springs on January 9, 2026. I would give him 10 stars if I could. From the start I felt like I had known him all my life and this was my first visit. He was very professional, easy to talk to and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. He took his time with me. I knew I was in good hands with Dr Keogh Jr. I did get a shot in my L2-3 with little to no pain. So far so good. I would recommend Dr Keogh Jr for anyone who needs this kind of care.

After months of inadequate treatment for pain due to bulged cervical discs pressing on nerves making my hands and arms all but useless and leaving me in unrelenting pain,I was fortunate to be referred to Dr Keogh here. The care from him and the staff are top notch and they are very compassionate. I am looking forward very much to continuing my care with them with the hopes that my microsurgeon can pinpoint where I am broken and how to maybe fix it so I can continue a productive life without the amount of unrelenting pain that is currently invading my day to day.

I experienced my first consultation with Dr. Keogh and his staff member Madison. Both were professional and friendly and asked all the appropriate questions pertaining to my right knee pain. Dr. Keogh was comprehensive in his assessment of my right. Honest about my best options for treatments given my situation and insurance type. He was able to tell me what would mostly be covered and what would not be covered by my insurance which help guide my decision with Dr. Keogh on what treatment we should begin with. Kudos to Dr. Keogh and Madison!

Staff was friendly and my Dr was professional, thorough, attentive and never made me feel rushed. I have been in pain for 30 years and the shot he gave me had me pain free for the first time. No side effects, just pain free movement. Can’t recommend them enough.

My real name is Pamela Marano. I have been seeing Dr. Avila for several months now and it took 28 years but I finally found the BEST pain management doctor ever!! Dr. Avila is so kind and genuinely caring it’s amazing. He’s empathetic and he really listens when you speak. I’ve been living with chronic pain and depression due to the pain for 28 years. I’ve been to doctors from NY to Florida and had more injections than I can count. None of them helped. I had my first neck injection with Dr. Avila and he explained everything as he went along. It took about ten minutes and when I sat up on the table afterwards I couldn’t believe it but all of the agonizing pain was gone!!! I could turn my head to the left which I hadn’t been able to do in almost a year. The plan was to see if the relief lasted for a few days or two weeks and then after two weeks I would return for a second shot. Well the pain hasn’t returned. That was 2 months ago and I am still pain free! I am thrilled! I still have arthritis pain in my hips, hands and lower back but my neck was debilitating. I plan to have the same procedure on my lower back. My depression has improved 100%. I highly recommend Dr Avila. It’s such a pleasure to find a warm, caring and professional pain doctor. So many of them are cold and jaded and tired of listening to patients complaining. Pain can destroy your life in many ways and my life was a mess but thanks to Dr. Avila I am a new woman with a new outlook! I’m 68 years old so it’s never too late! Also all of his employees are wonderful. They call you back and are very kind and helpful!
